At Morningside Trichology Clinic, we understand how overwhelming hair loss and scalp concerns can be. It’s easy to feel caught up in online advice, trying product after product without seeing results or ever speaking to a qualified professional about the root cause.
Led by Hlengi Hans Ngidi (IAT), a certified Trichologist with the International Association of Trichologists, Morningside Trichology Clinic offers evidence-based, in-person care designed to cut through the confusion. Hlengi’s journey in trichology began in the UK with the Institute of Trichologists and was further enriched by her professional experience as a National Education Manager for L’Oréal’s Professional Products Division. This background combines deep scientific expertise with practical industry insight, ensuring clients receive care that is both clinically sound and highly personalised.
We specialise in hair and scalp health, providing likely diagnoses, treatment plans, and clear, qualified answers to your questions. Our consultations address a wide range of concerns, including alopecia, male and female pattern hair loss, excessive shedding, scalp irritation, itching, dandruff, and scaling.
At Morningside Trichology Clinic, we believe in combining professional knowledge with care and consideration. That’s why all consultations are conducted in person at our Sandton clinic, we do not offer online or telephonic consultations. We want every patient to feel heard, supported, and guided in a professional setting.
Our Trichology Consultations
•Personalised Assessments: Before your appointment, you’ll complete a pre-consultation form to help us understand your concerns and health history.
•In-Depth Consultations: During your session, we’ll take the time to explain your likely diagnosis and discuss all relevant factors influencing your hair and scalp health.
•Tailored Treatment Plans: You’ll receive a post-consultation report outlining the discussion and treatment options, giving you clarity and choice in your next steps.
•Holistic Understanding: Our trichologists are trained in the biological systems that influence hair and scalp health, including hormonal, immune, digestive, and cardiovascular factors.
We also work within a network of trusted practitioners and treatment providers, offering access to medical doctors, registered nurses, pharmaceutical and supportive solutions as needed.
